HOW TO SEND MONEY
Simple. Just go to your nearest Western Union® Service Provider location in Japan, fill in your details and the rest will be taken care of. Money is available for collection in the destination country just minutes1 after it is sent. With more than 370,0002 Overseas Agent locations across the world, we are probably right around the corner in your neighborhood.

COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM
Fill out the form provided and show your identification document as required3 to the Service Provider.
You can call Western Union at 0034-800-400-733 (for calls within Japan) or +61-2-9226-9554 (for calls from overseas) during service hours (Monday - Sunday, 10:00 - 19:00; English service is available 24 hours a day) for more information.
PAY FOR YOUR MONEY TRANSFER
Give the Service Provider the amount of money that you want to send or entrust together with the necessary service fees4.
RECEIVE YOUR RECEIPT
You will receive the customer's copy and a print-out of the transaction details. One of the details in the customer's copy is your unique number of transaction (MTCN). You can track the status of your money transfer online with your MTCN.
INFORM YOUR RECEIVER
It's time to contact the intended receiver of your money, and relay the necessary information to him/her such as the sender's name, amount sent, the unique number of your transaction (MTCN), and the country the money was sent from. Do not disclose transaction details to anyone else.
TRACK YOUR MONEYGo to the 'Tracking' link that's on the homepage of our website. You can then track the status of your money by typing in your name (the sender's name) and the unique number of transaction (MTCN).
